Shoe Box to Boom Box Workshop

The ‘Boom Box’....essential kit for every 80’s teenager. The way we used to listen to music when Headstone Manor Museum was in its infancy, in the days before streaming. Construct your own Boom Box using recycling and a good dollop of creativity!

Please bring your own shoe box, cereal box or small cardboard box.

Discover a world of stories, creativity, and imagination for children aged 4–11 this summer with Harrow Libraries as they celebrate the National Year of Reading 2026.

Join the Fantastic Summer Club (FSC) and receive a limited‑edition Harrow library card. Every time you take part in an FSC activity - at the libraries or at Headstone Manor - you’ll earn a special sticker! Complete six club activities (including reading at least two books) and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win a family ticket to the Harry Potter Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London.
