Tuesday Talk: Beekeeping in Harrow
Details
You will be introduced to the fascinating world of the honey bee! The talk will cover how we manage our bees and produce honey, and some of the problems faced today by honey bees and other pollinators.
With a guest speaker from the Harrow Beekeepers Association!
Harrow Beekeepers Association is a registered charity established in 1919 and has 140 members who keep bees on association sites, allotments, and gardens. The association provides teaching to encourage good management practices and reduce disease. It works with local schools and other organisations to promote understanding of the role of pollinators in our world. It also provides a swarm collection service.
