Create a Stained Glass Mosaic Workshop
General Sale: 11 May @ 11am
Details
Looking for something fun, relaxing, and creative to try? Join me on 27th May for a stained glass mosaic workshop where you’ll explore colour and shape and create a beautiful piece to take home.
During the day, you’ll learn the basics of stained glass, including cutting and shaping glass, arranging your design, and finishing your piece with grout. You can choose from a range of designs or create your own, with guidance throughout. Beginners are very welcome, and those with some experience can build confidence and refine their technique.
This workshop is open to anyone with an interest in glass or a desire to try a rewarding and therapeutic creative hobby. No previous experience is needed. Small-group demonstrations and individual support ensure you can work at your own pace.
About the Teacher
Suzanne Raffellini is a full-time glass artist who sells her work through her website www.suzanneraffelliniglassartist.com and at craft fairs such as Waddesdon Christmas Market and Handmade in Chelsea. She takes on commission work such as the front entrance of St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Amersham and other private residences. She also teaches regular weekly classes at Bellingdon Village Hall, one day workshops, covering a variety of topics, and fully immersive summer schools at her Chesham Studio.
This workshop is partially funded by Learn Harrow. To take part, you’ll need to enrol with them in advance – we’ll send you instructions via email.
Learn Harrow is also trialling a new Progress Portal this term, where you can see your workshop dates, times, and content all in one place. Once enrolled, you’ll simply be asked to pick a few learning goals before your session(s) which will help the tutor plan accordingly. This process secures your place and ensures we can continue to run events like this in the future.
We’d love your feedback on this process to share with Learn Harrow. If you have any questions, just drop us an email at education@headstonemanor.org
