Create Stained Glass Garden Art

Looking for something fun, relaxing, and creative to try? Join me on 8th July for a stained glass workshop where you’ll create a beautiful garden decoration to take home.
 

During the day, you’ll be introduced to the art of stained glass and learn the essential techniques needed to complete your piece, including cutting and shaping glass, making a zinc frame, and leading the glass into place. You can choose from a range of designs or create your own, with plenty of time to explore colour and shape.
 

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience who’d like to refine their skills. No previous knowledge is required. Small-group demonstrations and individual guidance ensure everyone can work comfortably at their own pace.

About the Teacher

Suzanne Raffellini is a full time glass artist who sells her work through her website www.suzanneraffelliniglassartist.com and at craft fairs such as Waddesdon Christmas Market and Handmade in Chelsea. She takes on commission work such as the front entrance of St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Amersham and other private residences. She also teaches regular weekly classes at Bellingdon Village Hall, along with one day introduction  workshops, and fully immersive summer schools from her Chesham Studio.

This workshop is partially funded by Learn Harrow. To take part, you’ll need to enrol with them in advance – we’ll send you instructions via email.

Once enrolled, you’ll simply be asked to pick a few learning goals before your session(s) which will help the tutor plan accordingly. This process secures your place and ensures we can continue to run events like this in the future.
