What are the normal museum opening times?

Tues - Sun, 10am - 4pm (with last entry at 3.30pm)

Closed Mondays

Payment methods?

Payment can be made:

  • In person using a debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.
  • Online or over the phone using a debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro.

Please note that from 1st April 2026 Headstone Manor and Museum accepts card payments only in order to provide a quick and efficient service.

Who can buy a concession ticket?

We offer a range of discounted rates for selected events including over 60s, under 16s, students, disabled patrons and those in receipt of benefits. Customers can only use one discount per event, e.g. group discounts, promo codes etc. Not all discounts are available on all events and proof of status may be required.

Do you offer family/group discounts?

We aim to offer a group discount on a wide range of our events. Please check the individual event pages for all applicable discounts.

Can my child attend an event on their own?

All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult with a maximum 4 children per adult.

Do you cater for Access requirements?

We want to make your visit is as easy and straightforward as possible, and aim to offer the best facilities to make your trip a success. Please read our Access section for more information about our facilities.

Do you have nearby parking?

Headstone Manor and Museum has free parking to the rear of the building as well as a number of disabled spaces. Find out how to get to Headstone Manor and Museum.

What are the normal Moat Café opening times?

Tues - Sun, 10am - 4pm

Does the Moat Café serve hot food?

Yes, hot food is served until 2.30pm.

Is the Great Barn open to the public?

The Great Barn is only open on special event days. Although whenever possible our Guided Tours go inside the barn. Please see the What’s On page to explore special events and tours.
