Headstone Manor and Museum is a wonderful place for a group visit; with changing exhibitions on the history of Harrow, beautiful grounds and nationally significant historic buildings, there’s lots to see.
As well as school visits which you can learn more about here, we welcome other pre-booked groups to the museum, including Higher Education, Life Long learning and all local associations.

Self-Guided Visits
Visiting Headstone Manor and Museum is free of charge. However, if your group is comprised of 10 or more people, please book in advance by filling in our Self- Guided Tour Booking Form and returning it to info@headstonemanor.org at least two weeks before your preferred visit date.
We would suggest a minimum of an hour to visit the museum.

Group tours
We offer a range of public and private group tours of Headstone Manor led by our knowledgeable guides. For all public tours, please visit our what's on page or subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated. For private group tours we offer three themes for you to choose from:
- The Manor Through the Ages (over 700 years of history!)
- Medieval Myths and Mysteries
- Tudor Tales (uncover our royal connections
Each tour lasts approximately 1 hour and are available during normal museum opening hours. It is £10 per person. Special group rate of £9 per person applies for groups of 15 or more.
We also have a special café deal for visitors who book private tours, a coffee and cake offer for £5.50.
We are now open for private group tour bookings for 2026 and 2027. To enquire please email info@headstonemanor.org.
