With Linda Davies

From Edwardian postcards to a range of wartime schemes, this talk explores an eclectic mix of Christmas-related ephemera with local connections, and discovers the stories and histories behind the Christmas messages sent to and from people in Harrow throughout the years.

About the Speaker
Linda Davies is a retired librarian who has given local history talks and run reading groups. She studied English Literature at university and local history as part of the post-graduate librarianship course. She had a brief alternative career as a vintage postcard dealer and remains fascinated by historical ephemera.
