Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund we have been able to embark on the creation of an online catalogue, in order to preserve our collections digitally and make them more accessible to the public.
The online catalogue contains descriptions of the objects held in the Harrow Museum Trust Collection and the Harrow Local History Collection & Archive. This includes:
- Documents
- Photographs
- Social history, archaeological and industrial collections including Whitefriars, Kodak and Winsor and Newton.
Records of objects held in the Harrow Museum Trust Collection feature reference numbers beginning with HMC. These objects also have ‘object numbers’, which begins with a 4-digit year code (e.g. 1987:XX), and serve as their identifiers within the museum.
Records of objects held in the Harrow Local History Collection & Archive feature reference numbers beginning with the archive’s ARCHON code: GB1102.
Objects from both collections will be added to the catalogue over the coming months. Keep an eye out for updates on social media and the website!
If you would like to view an object in person, you can make an appointment. More information on Collections appointments can be found here.
Photographs and images on the Headstone Manor & Museum website are subject to copyright. This includes images within object records on our online catalogue. To view our Copyright and takedown policy please visit here.
