Are you looking for something fun and relaxing to try? Something creative and inspiring?
Glass artist, Suzanne Raffellini will be leading a glass creative workshop. Here you will have plenty of time to play with colour and shape, creating lovely items that you will cherish. With her guidance you will learn how to cut and shape glass to make designs for useful and decorative items. You will learn about the properties of glass as it is heated and how you can use those properties in your design criteria.

You will make:

• A coaster/suncatcher
• A pendant/ring/earrings
• A small relief image

You will make things that will be fired after the course for collection later.

This course is for anyone who has an interest in glass techniques and/or beginners looking for a new creative hobby that is both rewarding and therapeutic. No previous knowledge and experience needed.

During the course, Suzanne will provide small group demonstrations and individual support to ensure that learners can work at their own level and at their own pace.

Suzanne Raffellini is a full time glass artist who sells her work through her website www.suzanneraffelliniglassartist.com and at craft fairs such as Waddesdon Christmas Market and Handmade in Chelsea. She takes on commission work such as the front entrance of St. Michael’s and All Angels Church in Amersham and other private residences. She also teaches regular weekly classes at Bellingdon Village Hall and one day workshops, the Once a Month Club Studio days and fully immersive summer schools at her Chesham Studio.

This workshop/course is presented with funding support from Learn Harrow. You will be required to register with Learn Harrow to take part in this workshop – instructions will follow in a separate email. It is really important you register as future funding for similar events depends on it.
