With Alan Field…

Before 1965 Harrow was in the county of Middlesex. Middlesex went all the way from Staines way over to Potters Bar. Middlesex had one of the biggest fire brigades in the country until the county council was abolished and most of it merged into Greater London. This talk will look at the Middlesex Fire Brigade and, also, its surviving legacy of the fire stations that are still in use today with the London Fire Brigade.

This workshop/course is presented with funding support from Learn Harrow. You will be required to register with Learn Harrow to take part in this workshop – instructions will follow in a separate email. It is really important you register as future funding for similar events depends on it.
